Shopee Malaysia Launches Co-Payment Coupon Program

On April 14, 2026, Shopee Malaysia officially introduced its "Co-Payment Coupon Program" for invited sellers. The initiative is structured in two phases. The first is a free trial period where Shopee covers 100% of the coupon costs. This transitions into a paid phase where costs are split 50/50 between the platform and the seller, capped at 5% of the seller's GMV from January 2026. Sellers must prepay the fees, with 50% reimbursed to their shop wallet within 45 days post-campaign. Exiting the free phase is not permitted; sellers wishing to leave the paid phase must apply at least three days in advance to avoid automatic renewal.

Junlebao Plans Southeast Asia Market Entry in June

On April 16, the first phase of Junlebao's South China dairy industry chain integration base in Jiangmen, Guangdong, commenced operations. This phase includes specialized production lines for fresh milk, yogurt, and student milk, with an annual designed capacity exceeding 180,000 tons and an estimated output value of around 20 billion yuan. The fresh milk line, operational since early April, is already near full capacity. Building on this production strength, Junlebao has announced plans to enter Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore, starting in June of this year.
