Shopee Thailand’s local store announced that from August 4, 2026, it will adjust sales commission fees for both Mall and non-Mall sellers. While some categories retain current rates, others will see a 1% or 2% increase (excluding VAT), depending on product characteristics. The platform stated that the additional revenue will be reinvested into improving operational tools, enhancing seller support programs, expanding customer acquisition channels, and boosting conversion rates. This adjustment aims to support merchants’ long-term growth on the platform.

Lazada data reveals that since partnering with Korea’s Gmarket in September 2025, Singapore has become one of the highest-value markets for Korean product consumption in Southeast Asia, with exceptional average order values. During the 6.6 Grand Campaign, Singapore’s average order value rose 146% compared to regular periods, leading the region. Nestlé Invests €60 Million in New Nescafé Factory in Thailand
Nestlé is investing 5.63 billion Swiss francs (approximately €60 million) to build a new Nescafé factory in Thailand. The Thai coffee market, valued at over €1 billion, is one of the company’s largest coffee markets globally. Located in Samut Prakan Province, the facility will produce the full Nescafé line—including instant, blended, and ready-to-drink coffees—with production expected to begin by the end of 2028. The factory will create over 500 jobs and feature an automated distribution center to enhance logistics efficiency and inventory flexibility. Asian executives stated this modern facility will strengthen Southeast Asian production capacity and drive growth in one of the world’s most dynamic coffee markets.
