Policy Updates & Announcements

1. Shopee Singapore Overseas Warehouse Operation Fee & Last-Mile Fee Adjustment

Effective November 12, 2025, the overseas warehouse operation fees will be updated. The last-mile fee adjustment took effect on October 1, 2025. The new rates apply to all orders generated after these dates.

  • Operation Fee (including VAT): Updated fee schedule available in the official announcement.
  • Last-Mile Fee (including VAT): Updated fee schedule available in the official announcement.

All fees are in SGD.

2. Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) Adjustment

From January 1, 2024, the GST rate increased from 8% to 9%. For non-overseas warehouse products, the displayed price on the product page automatically includes the 9% GST.

Additionally, since 2023, consumers purchasing low-value goods (worth SGD 400 or less) imported via air or post are also subject to GST.

3. Preferred Seller Standard Update

Effective September 16, 2024, for the Singapore site, the Average Preparation Time (APT) indicator has been replaced by the Fast Handover Rate (FHR) indicator.

  • If your past 30-day FHR is < 75%, your Preferred Seller status will be removed.

4. Mall Seller Standard Update

Also effective September 16, 2024, for Singapore and Malaysia sites, the APT indicator is replaced by FHR.

  • For Singapore Mall sellers, if your past 30-day FHR is < 80%, your Mall seller status may be at risk.

5. Shopee Singapore Commission Fee Adjustment

From January 1, 2026 (Beijing time), the commission fees for Singapore cross-border direct mail and third-party warehouse stores are unified at 16% (including tax). Official overseas warehouse stores have a commission of 11% (including tax).

  • Note: For the MY-SG project (Malaysia direct to Singapore), the overseas warehouse commission is 14% (including tax).

6. Crackdown on Counterfeit Products

The Singapore site strictly enforces IP rights. Sellers without brand authorization must not use brand names or trademarks in product titles, descriptions, images, or brand attributes.

  • Example: Unbranded Bluetooth TWS earphones using other brand names in titles or images.
  • Products without official brand authorization (e.g., Xiaomi) will be removed, and stores may be penalized or frozen.
